Flowering Plums
New growth reddish-purple turning greenish-bronze. Spectacular double-pink fragrant flowers. Little or no fruit. Graceful 25 ft. tree.
A tight, columnar selection of Newport plum. It grows rapidly to a height of 20 ft. with a spread of 4-5 ft. New foliage appears in a burnt orange color that turns deep burgundy as the leaves mature. Makes an excellent privacy hedge or accent tree. Sets small tasty fruit when pollenized. USDA Zones 4-7.
