Semi-freestone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 2nd week of June. Sized 2-5/8" to 3-1/4". Skin color: 90% to 100% deep red over yellow. Low-acid, sweet flavor. Extremely firm, high quality fruit. 800 to 900 hour estimated chilling requirement. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 10250)

Additional Notes

1. Clemson University gives high scores to Honey Blaze for color, firmness, fruit set and overall attributes. Average size is 2 3/4" and larger. Brix can be as high as 15-18. They note an excellent sweet taste. (Musser Fruit Research Farm, South Carolina, 2009-2012 data).
2. Honey Blaze can be susceptible to brown rot.
