Aspen White is a large, white-fleshed clingstone peach harvesting in mid-June ahead of Sierra Snow. Aspen White has attractive pink to light-red over cream skin color, very firm flesh, and a very good flavor that is mild and sweet. Estimated chilling requirement 600 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent Pending)
Galaxy is a peento (saucer-shaped or "flat") freestone peach with white flesh and a sweet, low acid flavor. Galaxy ripens in mid-to-late June, and is larger, firmer and more attractive than the Stark Saturn variety, which ripens at the same time. Estimated chilling requirement 500 to 600 hours.
The Glacier peach is so named not only for its firm, white flesh, but also for its remarkable size that typically ranges from 3-1/4" to 3-3/4". This freestone peach ripens in the last two weeks of July and holds firm on the tree for up to 10 days. Glacier offers a sweet, sub-acid flavor and attractive, bright red blush over white skin color. In our own fruit evaluations at Dave Wilson Nursery, the Klondike white-fleshed peach receives high ratings in every category. The firm, freestone fruit provides a memorable low-acid flavor, very large size (size: 2-7/8" to 3-1/2") and high color (85% light red blush over white). Klondike ripens from the 4th week of June into early July. Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 10872)
Excellent flavor and fruit color combined with supreme handling qualities. Consistent in producing large fruit and maintaining firmness. White-fleshed Rich Snow is currently one of the most-demanded DWN fresh market peaches. Ripens between May 5th and May 19th. Estimated chilling requirement 400 hours. U.S. Plant Patent No. 25812
This 2018 introduction sets a new mark for fruit size among the Zaiger white-flesh "saucer" peaches. Its large, peento-type ("flat") fruit has an attractive red blush and very good eating quality with an especially pleasing sweet, mild, subacid flavor. Sauzee Giant has consistently set a full crop: eight consecutive years at Modesto, CA. In trials, this variety shipped well after storing for three weeks. Harvest begins about August 1st. Large, white-fleshed peen-to ("saucer") type peach for the late season. Skin blushed attractive red. The highly aromatic and juicy clingstone flesh has very good flavor: mild, sweet, subacid. Sauzee Jewel is also well suited to packing and shipping. Harvest in September. Estimated chilling requirement 950 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 26839)
The Sauzee Lady peach was developed to extend the Peento peach market into August. This large, saucer-shaped ("flat") peach features firm, white flesh and an attractive pink blush. Sauzee Lady offers a mild, sweet flavor similar to the early season commercial standard, Sauzee Queen. This self-fertile clingstone has a low winter chilling requirement of approximately 300 hours. Sauzee Queen is a peento (saucer-shaped, "flat") freestone peach with white flesh that matures in mid-May. Like all our Zee Sweet peaches, Sauzee Queen offers a desirable, low-acid flavor. The fruit is medium-sized (2 5/8" to 2 3/4") with a nice skin color (50% red blush). Estimated chilling requirement 500 to 600 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 16179 )
September Snow is a low-acid freestone peach with white flesh that ripens from the last week of August into early September. This unusually late peach variety demonstrates good shipping qualities, but may be subject to some pre-harvest-drop. The fruit is very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2") with high skin color (75% to 80% red blush over white). Estimated chilling requirement 900 to 1000 hours.
Beautiful deep red skin color offsets the shimmering white flesh of the Sierra Snow peach. This clingstone ripens in the 3rd to 4th week of June and produces very large, firm fruit (3" to 3-1/4") with sweet flavor. Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 13527 )
Eating a peach on April 30th is exciting, but even more so when the peach is a firm, white-fleshed Snow Angel. In the warm regions of Reedley, California, Snow Angel ripens as early as April 27th. This clingstone yields good size (2-3/8' - 2-7/8"), high color, and a balanced, lightly acidic flavor. Low winter chilling requirement of approximately 200 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 18750 )
In fruit taste tests at Dave Wilson Nursery, the Snow Beauty white-fleshed peach has received the highest score of all peaches tested. This freestone ripens in the 3rd to 4th week of June. In addition to a tantalizing low-acid sweet flavor, Snow Beauty offers large size (2-5/8" to 3-1/4") and full, deep red-over-white skin color. Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours. The latest of the white peaches, Snow Fall is a low-acid freestone that ripens in the 2nd to 3rd week of September. The fruit is very large (3" to 3-1/2"), has good flavor and attractive pale white skin with a light red blush. Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 11568)
The Snow Fire white peach offers excellent firmness in a sweet, low acid freestone. In the fruit evaluations at Dave Wilson Nursery, Snow Fire has been observed to hold firm on the tree over two weeks from the first day of maturity. The fruit ripens beginning in the 1st week of August with very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2") and high skin color (90%-95% deep red-over-white). Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours.
This new Zaiger selection for the early season is in high demand for 2018 planting. Snow Fox is large and firm with attractive red skin. The white clingstone flesh is especially flavorful, with balanced sugar and acid. Harvest early June. Estimated chilling requirement 550 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 27790)
The Snow Gem freestone peach ripens in the 3rd week of August with firm, low acid white flesh. The fruit is very large fruit (3" to 3-1/2") with attractive skin color (50 - 60% light red blush over white). Estimated chilling requirement 700 to 800 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 11435 )
The aptly named Snow Giant peach is a remarkable white freestone that averages a colossal 3" to 3-3/4" in size. Ripening in the 1st to 2nd week of August, Snow Giant matures with a sweet, low-acid flavor and pleasant skin coloring (75% to 85% red blush over creamy white). The fruit stores and ships well, holding its firmness in cold storage for several weeks. Estimated chilling requirement 800 to 900 hours.
The Snow King peach is a favorite in farmers' markets. This white-fleshed freestone presents well with very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2"), high color (85% deep red over white) and long-lasting firmness. Snow King ripens from the last week of July into early August with a juicy sub-acid flavor. Estimated chilling requirement 900 to 1000 hours.
This variety is larger in size with a high degree of attractive red skin color. Its white flesh has a delicious, sweet, low-acid flavor. This fruit ripens between May 1st and May 15th. Estimated minimum chilling requirement 300 hours. U.S. Plant Patent No. 25093
The largest of the May white peaches, Spring Snow is a low-acid white clingstone with very good flavor. The tree is a vigorous grower and yields large fruit (2-5/8" to 3-1/4") with high color (80% red blush over white) which ripen from the last week of May to the 1st week of June. Cold winter temperatures can affect this variety. Estimated chilling requirement of 750 to 850 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 9883)
One of the largest white peaches, Sugar Giant ripens from the 1st week of July with exceptional flavor and firmness. The trees are vigorous and productive, showing good resistance to bacterial spot. Sugar Giant is freestone and demonstrates very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2") and good skin color (75% to 85% red blush over white). Estimated chilling requirement 800 to 900 hours.
Sugar Lady, a white-fleshed freestone peach, is known for its memorable flavor: sweet and mild with no tartness. A beautiful dark red skin protects the firm flesh. The fruit harvests in early July with large average size (2-5/8" to 3-1/4") and high skin color (85% bright red over white). Very vigorous tree. Estimated chilling requirement 850 to 950 hours.
Sugar May is a white-fleshed freestone peach that ripens in mid-June with excellent eating qualities. Very juicy and sweet, it has a well-balanced flavor that earns high fruit-tasting scores. With medium-to-large size and attractive red skin, Sugar May is an excellent choice for the early season peach market. Estimated chilling requirement 600 to 700 hours. Self-fruitful.
Summer Sweet is a peach that exemplifies firmness and flavor. This freestone white-fleshed peach ripens in the 1st to 2nd week of July, yielding a very sweet flavor. Summer Sweet features very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2") and high color (85% red blush over white). Estimated chilling requirement of 500 to 600 hours.
White Lady is one of the best tasting white-fleshed freestones with low acid and a full, rich flavor. It is widely adapted, tolerating fluctuating spring weather conditions. Ripening in the 3rd week of June, White Lady presents well with large size (2-5/8" to 3-1/4") and high skin color (75% to 85% light red blush over white). Very good storage and shipping qualities. Estimated chilling requirement 800 to 950 hours.
An exceptionally firm and crisp white peach, Yukon King ripens from the 2nd week of August through late August. This low-acid freestone peach shines with very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/2") and full skin color (100% light-red blush over white background). Estimated chilling requirement 750 to 850 hours.
