Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 1st to 2nd week of May. Sized 2-5/16" to 2-5/8". Skin color: mottled red over yellow. Acid-sweet flavor. 200 to 300 hour estimated chilling requirement.
Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 2nd week of August. Sized 2-5/8" to 3". Skin color: 70% to 80% red over yellow. Acidic with sweet flavor. Vigorous, very productive tree. 850 to 950 hour estimated chilling requirement.
August Moon midseason nectarine is a 2018 introduction from Zaiger Genetics. Its large fruit has attractive red skin color and firm, crisp yellow flesh with a nice acid-sugar balance and good flavor. Harvest begins about July 12th in Central CA. August Moon bears consistently, having set good crops seven consecutive years at Modesto, CA. In trials, this variety shipped well after storing for three weeks. Estimated chilling requirement 800 hours. U.S. Plant Pat. No. 28832
Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 3rd to 4th week of August. Sized 2-5/8" to 3-1/4" (60-64). Skin color: Bright red over yellow. Sweet, acidic. Vigorous tree, productive; fruit is very high-colored and firm for season. 900 to 1000 hour estimated chilling requirement. (U.S. Plant Patent pending)
Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 3rd to 4th week of May. Sized 2-5/16" to 2-7/8". Skin color: 85% to 90% bright red over yellow. Acidic flavor. Vigorous, productive tree, good fruit firmness, subject to split-pits. Estimated chilling requirement 150 to 250 hours.
Freestone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 3rd to 4th week of July. Sized 2-5/8" to 3-1/4" (42-64). Skin color: 65% - 75% red blush over yellow. Sweet. Vigorous, productive tree; no longer planted commercially due to low color; popular home garden variety due to excellent flavor; scores high in taste tests. Estimated chilling requirement: 500 hours or less.
Large, firm fruit with nearly full red skin. Intensely yellow flesh, some red streaking. Fire Time's strong nectarine flavor is acidic-sweet, typically 14 Brix. Harvest is the last week of July and first week of August. Average diameter 3 1/8" (48-42). Stores well for three weeks. Estimated chilling requirement 650 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 22741)

Giant Bright nectarine has nearly full red skin color and large size, averaging just over 3" in diameter (48-42). The firm clingstone flesh has an acidic-sweet flavor and excellent eating quality, typically 14 Brix. This variety stores well for three weeks. Estimated chilling requirement 650 hours. Semi-freestone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 2nd week of June. Sized 2-5/8" to 3-1/4". Skin color: 90% to 100% deep red over yellow. Low-acid, sweet flavor. Extremely firm, high quality fruit. 800 to 900 hour estimated chilling requirement. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 10250)
The Honey Diva nectarine ripens the second week of August.The fruit is 90% deep red over golden yellow with good size, averaging 2-7/8 inches to 3-1/4 inches. Honey Diva hangs on the tree for an extended period and offers excellent firmness with a sweet, low-acid flavor. This nectarine has an estimated chilling requirement of 800 to 900 hours. Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 1st to 2nd week of June. Sized 2-3/4" to 3" (48-60). Skin color: full red over yellow. Low-acid, mild flavor. Vigorous, productive tree; fruit color is bright and clean with little or no russet. 550 to 650 hour estimated chilling requirement. (U.S. Plant Patent pending)
The largest of the late season yellow nectarines, Honey Gem is an excellent low-acid clingstone. This fruit features a sweet flavor (average Brix of 17.7%) and firm, moderately juicy flesh that holds well in shipping. The self-fertile Honey Gem tree is a regular heavy bearer of large fruit that matures in early August and holds firm on the tree 8 to 10 days. Clingstone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 2nd week of June. Sized 2-5/8" to 3-1/4". Skin color: 90% red over yellow. Acidic-sweet flavor (not low-acid, despite its name). Very firm fruit with good shape, can be light cropping in low-chill years. Freestone yellow-fleshed nectarine. Ripens 2nd week of June. Sized 2-5/8" to 3". Skin color: 90% mottled dark red over yellow. Low-acid, sweet flavor. Highly productive tree: uniform heavy-cropper. Estimated chilling requirement: 900 hours or less.
Honey Lite nectarine is a low-acid, clingstone fruit with yellow flesh, attractive red skin and a sweet flavor. It ripens in the first half of June, sizing 48-42-56. This self-fertile variety consistently produces heavy crops with a winter chilling requirement of 350-400 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 18400)
As the name suggests, Honey May is one of the earliest yellow nectarines, ripening in the first half of May and holding firm on the tree longer than most early varieties. Honey May offers a firm, juicy texture and a rich flavor. This self-fertile clingstone consistently produces heavy crops with 90% bright red color. Honeylicious is a large, yellow flesh, clingstone nectarine. It has excellent eating quality and an attractive dark-red skin color. Ripening the end of June into July with 700 chill hours, this fruit is a great choice for commercial growers. (USPP Pending)

May Bright nectarine features shiny, dark red skin with very little freckling. Medium to large size for its season, the yellow-fleshed clingstone fruit is very firm, almost non-melting, mildly acidic and sweet in flavor, typically 16 brix. The tree is very productive, harvesting in mid to late May; the fruit keeps three weeks in storage. Estimated chilling requirement 400-450 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 21928)

A child of Red Roy, the Red Ryan yellow nectarine ripens 4-5 days earlier and features excellent size, balanced flavor and a meaty texture. This self-fertile clingstone ripens evenly throughout the tree, sizing 48-50-42. The Red Ryan tree is a heavy and regular producer with a low winter chilling requirement of approximately 300 hours. Royal Ruby offers large fruit with attractive red skin color for the early season (mid-May, between Spring Fire and Red Ryan).
