August Moon midseason nectarine is a 2018 introduction from Zaiger Genetics. Its large fruit has attractive red skin color and firm, crisp yellow flesh with a nice acid-sugar balance and good flavor. Harvest begins about July 12th in Central CA. August Moon bears consistently, having set good crops seven consecutive years at Modesto, CA.
